Baghdad massacre

Baghdad: Iraqi secureness services stormed a Baghdad church the place congregation were being taken hostage for four hours. Militants took command of one's Catholic Church, Our Lady of Deliverance, Sunday after attacking the Iraqi stock market Sunday leading to a siege at a church.

Fifty-two are dead, including security forces, church goersand a minimum of one priest. It's not known should the hostages died at the hands of the attackers or for the rescue. The attackers wasn't the injured, wearing bullet proof vests and involved in grenades. As a minimum 120 hostages were taken at undoubtedly one of Baghdad’s largest Catholic churches.



Deputy Interior Minister, Major General Hussein Ali Kamal; said 52 individuals were killed and 67 wounded in your massacre. He stated that the family fun priest and ten policemen were one of the casualties. Most of the casualties were women.

Footage from an American drone was taken into evidence. The video showed a black plume of smoke and flashes from inside the building after the officials stormed the building to rescue the hostages. Raed Hadi, family member of one of the victims stated, “It was a massacre in there and now they are cleaning it up. We Christians don’t have enough protection. What shall I do now? Leave and ask for asylum?”
